SafeworkCM provides construction management support services including resident engineering, inspection and safety services support services to Metro as part of the joint venture with AECOM and two other DBE firms. The Purple Line Segment 2 Project entails the construction of the second section of a three-section, 9-mile underground heavy rail line that will extend the existing Metro Purple line along Wilshire Boulevard to a new western terminus in West Los Angeles near the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Westwood. SafeworkCM’s team has extensive knowledge of underground construction in urban city environments including associated utility relocation, maintenance facility structures and traction power systems.
